Non Surgical Breast Enhancement
What is Non Surgical Breast Enhancement?
Non surgical breast enhancement refers to methods of increasing breast size without resorting to surgery. This includes methods such as exercises, pills, herbal supplements and even some mechanical aids such as vacuum pumps. Breast enhancement surgery can be expensive and there are concerns about side effects and health problems because it is an invasive procedure. Non-surgical breast enhancement is a good alternative for those who want to increase their breast size without undergoing surgery.
Women's breasts are made of adipose or fatty tissue and so breast size depends on various things like overall weight, general health, age and genetics. The muscle strength under the breasts can be increased by exercise and this increases the 'perkiness' of the breasts. So, while there is no miracle way to increase breast size, there are ways to make it look fuller and firmer. While considering non-surgical breast enhancement options, you may read about creams or lotions and you should remember that there is no scientific proof of any of these working.
The basic principles behind exercises do hold validity and are worth a serious consideration. Remember that exercises are not over-night miracle workers and so you should persevere on a regular regimen for at least 4-6 weeks before starting to expect modifications. Here are some exercises that are tried and tested:
Modified Push Up - Lie flat on your stomach and then bend your knees while crossing your ankles. Then place your palms on the floor on either side of your shoulder with your elbows bent. The slowly lift yourself of the ground by stretching your arms - you will be supporting yourself on your arms and knees. Straighten your arms and lift your body so you're balanced on your palms and knees. Keep your forehead parallel to the floor and tighten your abdomen.
Then lower your body by bending your elbows. Without going all the way, go down only till your upper arms get parallel to the floor. Now push back up. Make sure that your chin stays tucked and that you do not let your elbows lock when at full stretch. You should do 8-10 repetitions of this exercise.
Modified Weight Lifting - Start by lying on your back with a dumbbell in each hand. If you do not have dumbbells, you can use two soup cans of equal weight. Now lift your hands so that the weight is directly over your shoulder. Tighten your abdomen without pushing your back into the ground or arching it in any unnatural way. Tuck in your chin and slowly lower weight until your elbows make gently contact with the floor. Continue the exercise again while watching for elbow locking. You should also make sure that your shoulders do not lift off the floor when doing the lift. Do 8 to 10 repetitions of this. As the original weight becomes too easy you can substitute with heavier weights.
Upside-down Wing-flap - For this exercise you should lie down on the floor and prop yourself with pillows supporting your upper back, neck and head. Throughout the exercise make sure your chin stays tucked in so that your neck and spine stay aligned. You can again use dumbbells or soup cans for your exercise. Hold your weight of choice, one in each hand and start with both palms on your chest. Then spread your hand slowly until you have your elbows reach the floor on either side and stretch out your arms. Keep your elbows slightly bent at all times. Now bring your hands up again to your chest but make it a full circle move rather than just folding your elbows back. This exercise can also be repeated 8 to 12 times.
Some herbs that are thought to help with non-surgical breast enhancement are wild yam, fenugreek and Saw palmetto. Wild Yam was cherished by Native Americans as a great cure for liver and endocrine issues and as a regulator for women's health issues revolving around the menstrual cycle. Fenugreek, which has been used in many ancient cultures, is said to contain diosgenin which is a component of synthetic estrogen. This is supposed to help promote cell growth in the breasts. Fenugreek is easy to incorporate in your diet as you can have it in your tea or soup. Fenugreek also has other beneficial health effects such as helping the digestive system. Saw Palmetto has been recommended by practitioners of alternative therapies for breast enlargement for many centuries now starting from the pre-Mayan days. They are berries that can be consumed by themselves.
These are some of the options for women considering non-surgical breast enhancement.
